Early carbon composite Lotus 77 rear wing end plate

A rather rare part of F1. Lotus were one of the first teams to use the new wonder material of carbon fibre. Here is one of the earliest uses of it.

This is a rear wing end plate from the Lotus 77 rear wing driven by World champion Mario Andretti and Gunnar Nilsson. It has hand painted Goodyear logo. It has all the marks of being raced and has delaminated on one edge (see picture). It would look fantastic displayed and is a genuine historical raced F1 item.
